This spring, nurseries and children around the country are taking part in a very special mission. PAW Patrol on a Stroll is a short sponsored walk for children, taking place during the week of 22nd-29th May. Every penny raised goes towards Dogs Trust’s own mission – to make sure more dogs live happy, healthy lives.
PAW Patrol on a Stroll will take nurseries, child carers and children out on a sponsored walk to raise vital funds for Dogs Trust. Each nursery that signs up will receive an activity pack, including cut out mask templates of the PAW Patrol Pups for children to wear, as well as a cut out dog template for children to colour in and take on their mission walk.
Your nursery can take part in any way that suits you- whether that's several laps around the nursery, a walk in the garden or a stroll around the local area. Every child will also receive a special PAW Patrol badge to keep and your nursery will be in with a chance of winning a wonderful prize for getting involved!
The event centres on teamwork and good citizensip, two key PAW Patrol values. Using the activity pack provided, practitioners are encouraged to discuss with children what teamwork and good citizenship means whilst completing the activities.
So, if you think the children in your nursery might like to have their own PAW Patrol adventure, sign up today! Every penny raised from your stroll will go towards Dogs Trust's own mission; to make sure more dogs live happy, healthy lives.
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK and we care for around 14,000 dogs every year at our network of 22 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland. We’re the best place for dogs in need. When a dog is at risk, we help them get back on their paws with healthcare, training, rehabilitation – and lots of love, of course!
By taking part in PAW Patrol on a Stroll, you'll be helping us provide life changing care and forever homes for thousands of our four-legged friends. We really appreciate your support (and we know the dogs do too!)
